New Product Development

An end-to-end process that takes a product from a rough idea through validated design, tested prototype, and market launch.

Our five-stage process

Structured, not improvised

New product development fails most often when stages get skipped under time pressure — a feasibility study rushed, a validation step compressed. We run every project through the same five stages, scaled to the project's size, so nothing critical gets missed.

01

Define Project

Establish goals, market needs, and a detailed project scope before any design work begins.

02

Engineering Feasibility

Technical and market viability studies with cost analysis, so effort isn't invested in a design that can't actually be built or sold profitably.

03

Develop & Prototype

Design, engineer, and fabricate initial prototypes to test the concept in physical form.

04

Test & Validate

Rigorous internal and field testing for performance and quality, surfacing issues before launch rather than after.

05

Launch & Implement

Product manufacturing, market entry, and deployment support to carry the project through to a finished, sellable product.

Risk reduction, built in

Methodologies we apply throughout

Value analysis / value engineering

Systematically reviewing a design for opportunities to reduce cost or complexity without compromising function or quality.

Design & process failure mode analysis

Structured review of how a design or manufacturing process could fail, and mitigating those risks before they reach production — rather than discovering them after a costly recall or rework.
